Never give up on your dreams

I’ve been reminded recently to ‘never give up on your dreams’

And I thought it was such brilliant advice surely someone’s got that quote with their name on it… and they do - Barack Obama!

In the space of a few days I’ve heard such contrasting stories. Stories of some dreams being crushed, and of another’s, having been crushed many times, finally coming to be.

People who have gone to such incredible lengths, for years, to make their dream happen. To hear news that the goal posts of their dream have moved. Again.

And yet in the same token, I heard of another person who has also gone to incredible lengths, for years, to make their dream happen.

Set back after set back. Heart break after heart break.

But they stayed the course. They wouldn’t give up.

And it looks like that dream might finally come to fruition.

The good dreams are worth waiting for. And the good dreams are worth the effort for.

Never give up on those dreams!

They will happen. Maybe not in the way you’d once imagined, but they will happen.

And when they do, they will be worth everything you gave them.
